Mahjong Free Game

Mahjong Clubs Near You

We list only clubs that a person has checked. The directory is new, so here is how to find a game anywhere.

Applies to: All four-player styles

To find mahjong near you, start with libraries, senior centers, community centers, and Jewish community centers, since many host regular games. Then search local event listings and social media groups for “mahjong” with your town’s name. Game cafes and tile shops often run nights too. Our directory lists only clubs a person has checked. It is just getting started, so it may not have your area yet.

The directory

Every listing here has a source and a date when it was last checked. We never scrape or invent listings. Please call before you travel, since schedules change.

We have not yet added verified listings. We would rather show you nothing than show you something wrong. Send us a club, and we will check it. Listing is free, and we never ask for anything in return.

Our full guide to finding a group has more ideas, and tips for what to ask.

Which style will they play?

Before you go, ask this first: “What style do you play?” American, Hong Kong, and Riichi games are all different. If you learned one, you may not be able to join another straight away. Our variant guide explains why.

Classes for beginners

We would love to hear from you. Clubs and teachers can use our printables in class for free. Tell us about your club, and if you would like to teach with our trainers, get in touch.
