Mahjong Solitaire is a single-player tile-matching game. It is not the same game as four-player mahjong.
Tap a free tile to lift it into the tray at the top. Two matching tiles clear. A tile is free when nothing rests on it and its left or right side is open. Four different tiles fill the tray. Revive puts them back on the board, but each level has only a few, and using one ends your combo. Clear every tile to win. Matches in a row build a combo, and Undo ends it. A Combo x5 earns another Revive. Flowers match any flower. Seasons match any season. Keyboard: arrow keys move between free tiles, Enter chooses, H gives a hint, U undoes, R redoes, P pauses.

None of the free tiles match. You can step back, rearrange the remaining tiles, or start fresh. Shuffling always leaves a board you can clear. If the last tiles are stacked, it puts a pair or two back first.
